“Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.” These were the words delivered by President George W. Bush after the devastating 9/11 terrorist attacks shook the nation of America and the whole world along with it. This was an unprecedented act of pure barbarism which drove the USA to spearhead the mission against terrorism. Nobody had attacked the global superpower like this till date.
